Manual Breast Pumps

Sponsored Links

All powered by hand, except for one powered by foot. Naturally, cycling is adjustable because it depends on how fast or slow the user pumps. Piston-type pumps require two hands. Most people would agree that these breast pumps are for occasional use only.

The Medela Harmony, Ameda One-Hand and Avent Isis breast pumps will typically receive
4 or 4.5 stars out of a 5 star rating by breast pump reviewers.

The other pumps have not been rated, but they are included here because of their reputable brand names. Price should probably be a clue that performance is not as high. Very cheap manual breast pumps do not usually receive good reviews. See our article, Cheap Breast Pumps.

For information on the Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Breast Pump and the Gerber Massaging Breast Pump, see our article The New Trend: Massage.
